My 5 week old daughter, Allison, was born with a congenital heart condition. Her pediatric cardiologist advised us "not to let her cry" for more than 2 minutes at a time, at least until after she would have her heart surgery at 4-6 months of age. This became very frustrating, as I could not get anything done around the house without carrying her with me, as she wanted to be held constantly.
My husband and I noticed that Allison responded very well to a running vacuum cleaner, however, that sound can become very annoying, especially at night. In desperation for sleep at night and sanity in the daytime, we tried the Hush Baby CD. Not only are the sounds soothing, but Allison loved them and they seemed to calm her instantly. Thank you Hush Baby! We love you and will recommend you to all of our pregnant friends!

I just wanted to thank you so much for making such a wonderful product. I am a new mother of twins and have tried all sorts of things to calm a fussy baby with no real luck. My mother in-law sent me your CD and within seconds, seconds my baby stopped crying. It is the best thing ever! I have told all my friends about it and I have found the perfect baby shower present. I am also getting another of the CD for the daycare. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful headache saving product.

I stumbled upon the use of white noise for my baby by accident. I got frustrated one day when I couldn't soothe her to sleep no matter what I did, so I just started vacuuming the room. Almost instantly, my baby fell asleep! Since then, I have used MP3 downloads of blow dryer and vacuum sounds, have a womb sounds/heartbeat CD and a popular noise machine (by Marpac).
The Hush Baby CD is the BEST, my baby takes a GREAT nap in the afternoon with it, 2-3 hours long. Even when I have it on almost full blast on the CD player, my baby still sleeps through it. The white noise is "pure," much better than another white noise CD I had purchased online (another waste of money). I just wish a noise machine could duplicate this sound so it would be continuous.
